Ask Propy

Propy is the Propool elephant in the bottom-right corner of your screen. Ask a question in plain words and Propy answers from your leads, tasks and listings.

Asking Propy

There are three ways in:

• Click Propy in the corner (or the Ask Propy button that appears when you point at it). Type your question and send it; the answer appears in a bubble above Propy. Choose Open full chat to carry on in the assistant pane.
• The search bar at the top (⌘ K or Ctrl K): type a question and choose Ask Propool.
• Help → Start a chat.

Propy steps aside while the full assistant is open, and isn't shown in the Inbox, where it would cover the message box.

Things to ask

• What tasks do I have today?
• Show my overdue tasks
• Create a task to call the owner tomorrow at 9am

Propy asks before it acts

Propy can prepare changes for you — creating a task, for example — but nothing happens until you approve it. When Propy is waiting on you, its bubble says Needs your approval. Your past conversations are kept so you can come back to them.

If Propy can't answer, it says so rather than guessing.

Using Propool from Claude or ChatGPT

Admins can connect outside AI apps such as Claude or ChatGPT to your workspace under Settings → Connected AI apps. See Connect AI assistants.
